Forest Stewardship Council — Promoting Responsible Forest Management

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) promotes responsible management of the world's forests via timber certification. The organization has received the J. Paul Getty Award for Conservation Leadership. The FSC is led by a board of directors, which includes representatives from environmental organizations, industry, and government.
