Jon Kabat-Zinn is a renowned American professor, creator of the Stress Reduction Clinic, and founder of the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. With a background in Zen Buddhism, hatha yoga, and Vipassanā, Kabat-Zinn has integrated spiritual practices with scientific findings to develop mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), a program now widely offered in medical centers and hospitals.
